Staff Writer

Maybe it’s the dawning holiday season, but we’re in the spirit of celebrating beautiful Cairo’s amazing structures, culture, and people. And what better way to do that than to check out the work of an amazing photographer who captures Cairo’s energetic spirit? Trick question, there is no better way. So meet photographer Ahmed Samir.

We found out about Ahmed Samir’s amazing photo project on Facebook. The photos are roaring with life we could almost hear the hustle and bustle of Islamic Cairo.

We know Samir’s work will catch your eye as much as it caught ours, and probably latch on to your mind for when you’re near the photographed areas, because these are good enough to make you want to visit.

Be sure to check out you the Egyptographer's work. Yes, the man thought up an entire profession and gave it a name, a pretty cool one, if we may say so ourselves. We wish we'd thought of it first. We raise our sugarcane juice glasses to you, kind sir.
