Filming of the international star-studded production is set to begin in April near the Turkish-Syrian border.
Arab pop music royalty Nancy Ajram, will be starring in a Turkish production about Syrian refugees. She will be joining an international star-studded cast that will include Football megastar Cristiano Ronaldo and Oscar winner Angelina Jolie. There are contradicting reports on the nature of the production, according to CNN Arabic, the plan is to shoot a film, while reports by ESPN and Al Arabiya suggest it will be a TV series.
"There will be appearances from actors and actresses from all over the world," Turkish director, Eyup Dirlik told Sky News. He also confirmed that the shooting is set to start in April at an area near the Turkish-Syrian border.
The narrative will be centred on the journey of a Syrian family fleeing the devastating civil war to neighbouring Turkey.
