Tarantino Betrayal Kills Movie

Quentin Tarantino is a global icon that could be considered the best director of his generation. Every passing movie is highly anticipated and hyped, millions are made, and some are offended. Recently, Tarantino has been hard at work creating a script for a new Western entitled The Hateful Eight. Upon completing the first draft, Tarantino decided to show it six people. In Reservoir Dog style he found himself betrayed and the script was leaked online.

Tarantino broke the news to Deadline himself, saying, "I’m very, very depressed. I finished a script, a first draft, and I didn’t mean to shoot it until next winter, a year from now. I gave it to six people, and apparently it’s gotten out today."

It isn't clear which one of his closest confidants have betrayed him, but Tarantino suspects that it was likely one of his actor friends or agents that found the script and leaked it all over Hollywood. As a result of this treachery, Tarantino has decided to kill the movie, and is now exploring the option of developing the script into a novel. Tarantino added: "I give it out to six people, and if I can’t trust them to that degree, then I have no desire to make it. I’ll publish it. I’m done. I’ll move on to the next thing. I’ve got 10 more where that came from." It totally sucks that this happened, but the silver lining here is that he has plenty of other scripts, and before you know it we will have a new Tarantino film to feast on and argue about.
