6 Egyptians Make Forbes' List of Richest People On Earth

Once again, Forbes has released their list of the wealthiest people globally, and making the rank is not one but six Egyptians, and not all of them are named Sawiris.

According to Thursday's report, six Egyptian have made their list, with the richest Egyptian being… Drumroll, please…. Nassef Sawiris. Estimating his wealth at $4.2 billion, Nassef Sawiris ranked 421st in the world, and following not too far behind as the second richest Egyptian is his brother, Naguib Sawiris, with an estimated worth of $3 billion.

Also making the list, and definitely not related to Sawiris, is business magnate Mohamed Mansour, raking in $2.5 billion, followed by Egyptian UK businessman Mohamed al-Fayed with a reported $1.9 billion. From there we return to the Mansour family, with older brother Yousef Mansour making $1.7 billion, while the youngest brother, Yassin Mansour, comes in with a total of $1.4 billion.

Needless to say, if your last name is Sawiris, al-Fayed, or Mansour, then chances are life is pretty easy, as these families combined are probably richer than the state and all the people in it.
