EgyptAir suspends flights to Brussels following the terrorist attacks that rocked Belgium's capital city.
EgyptAir Brussels-bound flights from Cairo have been suspended, a source in the airline reveals, according to Egypt Independent.
Said measures have been in place for three days now, following the Brussels attacks which targeted the city’s airport and underground, prompting a security lockdown in the Belgian capital.
The ISIS-perpetrated attacks, which claimed the lives of at least 31 people and wounded around 260, have been condemned by heads of states and institutions from all across the Middle East; most notably the Egyptian government and Al Azhar.
The source also clarified that flights should resume as soon as the security lockdown in Brussels has been lifted.
