Egyptian Cabinet Decides to Issue Compensation for Cathedral Bombing Victims

The Egyptian cabinet decided on Saturday that it will issue due compensation for the families of victims of the Cairo cathedral bombing that took place last Sunday, according to Al Ahram. The families of the deceased will receive 100,000 EGP and an exceptional monthly pension of 1,500 EGP per victim.

Also, 40,000 EGP will be paid for those who were injured in the bombing and were subjected to 72 hours of hospitalisation, in addition to having their medical fees covered.

As a result of the 11th of December church bombing, 26 people have died, mainly women, and over 40 were injured.
