Uber has partnered with Arabnet for the second consecutive time to support entrepreneurs across 12 cities in the MENA region, including Cairo and Alexandria, by allowing one winner from each city the opportunity to pitch at the Arabnet Digital Summit 2016, to be held May 30-31st in Dubai. Each winner will be awarded with the production of a one-minute video to pitch their startup at the summit, plus exhibition space, branding, and match-up sessions with key industry leaders.

Starting on April 3rd, in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Doha, Manama, Amman, Beirut, Cairo, Alexandria, and Casablanca, entrepreneurs can apply to pitch their startups to global industry leaders through UberPitch. Aspiring entrepreneurs can apply through Uber’s online application form; those who qualify will be granted access to the UberPitch option in the Uber app and, on April 16th, they will be able to request an UberPitch ride where they will pitch their idea to several investors in a seven-minute journey around the city. To qualify, startups must have less than 25 employees, must be a digital startup that is more than 12 months old and has less than two million dollars of investment.
