Europe is waking up to the fact that Egyptians are a talented bunch when it comes to their favourite thing; football. The latest Egyptian footballer heading to europe is Ahly’s youngest marvel, Ramadan Sobhi, who has reportedly signed for over 6 million euros with English Premier Club Stoke City.

The deal has been in the works for months, with other international clubs looking to acquire this footballing star's services, but Stoke City apparently won, luring the player with an offer he couldn’t refuse. Talking to reporters on Tuesday morning, Sobhi explained, "Stoke City was keen to get me and agreed on all the conditions Ahly demanded. Nobody guarantees the future. The offer is good and I accepted it."

At the young age of 19, Sobhi garnered international attention after delivering five goals and setting up eight goals, helping Al Ahly clinch their 9th league title in 10 years. With Mohamed Salah putting on a show in Italy and proving Egyptians can play, Stoke City is hoping to strike the same kind of gold with acquiring Sobhi. To secure their bid over other club interested, Stoke City has reportedly agreed to 6.5 million euros according to King Fut. However, all the details of the deal are yet to be disclosed as the winger is currently acquiring the visa so that he can officially sign the deal.

Upon ink drying we will update you with the final details. Although this is good news for Sobhi, it is bad news at the moment for Al Ahly as Sobhi has been dropped from the roster ahead of their match against Wydad Casablanca of Morocco on July 16th.
