Amr Adib Signs Deal Setting Him as Highest Paid Host in The Middle East

Amr Adib or the Larry King of the Arab world?

Amr Adib has just been dubbed the highest paid tv host by chairman of Saudi’s General Sports Authority, Turky El El Sheikh, reports Fil Fan. The title comes after Egyptian media personality signed a two year contract which sees him hosting a new show on MBC. The deal was sealed in the presence of Saudi host, Betal Al Qous and El Sheikh who likened Adib to the Larry King of the Arab world.

The popular TV host has had a flourishing career in his home country that spanned over 20 years. Starting his path in media as editor in chief of Al-Alam Al-Youm, Adib found fame when he started hosting Al Qahera El Youm. His TV show lasted for over two decades with it's main attraction being the controversial topics Adib chose to tackle.

Having left his late night show Kol Youm which was aired on private channel OnEnt, the host feels like he's achieved his purpose and taken the show as far as he can.
