Asli Goes East!

Opening up their new branch in Heliopolis TONIGHT, everyone's favourite street-food joint is throwing some spectacular festivities.

Asli Goes East!

We can't rave enough about Asli's delicious versions of what can often be off-putting Egyptian street foods. From kebda eskandarani to spicy sogo2 and every bechamel-topped thing in between, the kitsch take-out restaurant has revolutionised what it means to get a quick, cheap and delicious meal. Today, the Maadi-based restaurant opens its doors in Heliopolis, with all the appropriate fanfare. They're calling it Mahragan El Kebda wel Sogo2. We're calling it a great deal on a good meal and a lot of fun. The first 100 customers to walk through the door will get 50% off their bill (or double the sandwiches for the same price you'd pay usually, do the math, people) and the area around the new store will be filled with traditional Egyptian mouled games to get in touch with your inner-retro-child with. Fun AND food? We'll see you there at 7PM.

The new Asli store is located at 27 Abdallah Draz street, Ard El Golf, Heliopolis. For more information, visit their Facebook page here
