Citizen Arrested in Hurghada for Throwing Glass in Red Sea

Following the emergence of a viral video showing an individual throwing empty bottles into the sea near a beachfront restaurant in Hurghada, the Red Sea governorate announced the arrest of the alleged suspect. According to preliminary investigations, it was revealed that the person filmed works at the restaurant.

Security authorities apprehended the perpetrator and took him into custody pending presentation to the prosecution for legal action. The governor also ordered the formation of an expanded committee to examine the policies of the restaurant and cafe in accordance with the laws and regulations pertaining to environmental impact.
