Egyptian nationals, along with Jordanians, were cited as the top Arab nationalities showing interest in purchasing property in the UAE according to insights released by the Gulf country's biggest and most popular real estate platform, Dubizzle Property.

The insights studied interest for real estate in the UAE by nationality between January to September 2018, with Egyptians and Jordanians accounting for 10% of property seekers during that period.

Insights recently-released by the Dubai Land Department looking into Dubai real estate transactions in the aforementioned period revealed that Egyptians had made 719 transactions worth close to EGP 5 billion, by 623 investors.

The highest interest in UAE real estate came from Indian nationals which make up around 22%, followed by Pakistanis which make up 14% of the visits, Egyptians which make up 6 %, and Jordanians and UK nationals which make up 4 %.

Boasting of over 130K listings, Dubizzle Property lists China, France, UAE and KSA as the top 20 most active nationalities.

The UAE government's decision to permit 10-year UAE resident visa as well as the reduction of government fees for investors has encouraged more investments in the country.
