Event Republic are dealing with the major issue of trying to forget Thursdays exist.
Encouraging alcohol consumption in order to induce symptoms of amnesia might seem irresponsible but Event Republic is not your average event company. While others seem preoccupied with the silly constitution thing people are blathering on about, Event Republic are dealing with the major issue of trying to forget Thursdays exist. The concept is simple. Every other Wednesday at Yasso they will host their Fast Forward event. If you attend, you will find yourself at some guy called Ahmed’s place the next day. You will be wearing nothing but a dashiki and a note on your forehead that says, “I like ducks”.
Event Republic have deemed that bright colours are a must. We presume this is so we can feel like we’re totally part of the Nu Rave trend when in fact it’s been over for some time. Maybe Fast Forward is so ahead of time it’s actually ahead of the revival of the trend.
The first event takes place on Wednesday October 17th.
