Hassan El Shafei for Hugo Boss

We rarely see (hot) Egyptian artists being the face of international fashion brands; the best we get is sha3bi jingles for frozen meat products and awkward shots of Amr Diab drinking water suggestively. However, things seemed to have taken a turn for the better. Hassan El-Shafei, acclaimed musician, Arab Idol judge and CairoScene-approved heart throb has signed a deal to be the new face of Hugo Boss for their Middle Eastern fragrance campaign. It's nice to see a pretty face (with a lot of talent backing it up) representing the Arab world in such an international capacity. Keep your eyes open for El Shafei's commercials and billboard ads which will be gracing your world very soon.
