Money for Mohammeds

Of all the countries in the world to have possibly come up with a solution to Egypt's dire poverty, we never thought it'd be The Chechen Republic. The common jovial tripe here in the Middle East is that EVERYONE is called Mohammed, Mohammed Mohammed or occasionally Mohammed Mohammed Mohammed. It is estimated that more than 15 million people have been named after the Prophet, making it the most popular name in the world right now.

Chechnya, which is super fun to say (Chechnya... Chechnya... Chechnya), formerly part of the Russian Soviet Union, is now an independent state, mostly made up of Muslims and a new initiative from Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov states that anyone who names their newborn 'Mohammed' will receive $1,000 from the state.

Maybe if Sisi suggested something similar, it would help new families in Egypt financially, and would also stop them from calling their children Sisi. We don't know about you, but our first son will definitely be called... Chechnya (Chechnya... Chechnya.)
