Swimming for Glory

18-year-old Egyptian swimmer Farida Osman is doing, not only the whole country, but the whole female population of the Middle East, proud as she swims her way to glory. The first Arab female to reach a World Championship final, Osman won her place in the 50m butterfly final to be held in Barcelona, after recovering from a slow start to win the semi-final last Friday. Her impressive performance will see her rub shoulders with Olympic champions this Saturday, just in time for Eid, as she goes for the win.
