Zorbing Hits The Middle East for The First Time, Right Here in Maadi

Ever wanted to roll around in a ball filled with water from atop a hill? Verticality Zorbing Park in Maadi has your back.

As a kid, who didn’t love bouncy castles, rolling down hills, and swimming? These are three very different things, but now a new Cairo attraction has all three activities rolled into one: zorbing. Not a swear word, Zorbing is an adventure sport that comes to us all the way from New Zealand. Aka the only place on earth where you have the space, mentally and spatially to sit in a giant inflatable ball with water inside it, and roll down a hill. And possibly one of our favourite import, that excitement is right here in Maadi’s Victoria Square, coming to our region for the first time.

Verticality Zorbing Park recently launched the activity and is excited for everyone to jump in on the fun, and in case you're wondering, the gear is “fully manufactured in the EU and is ISO certified in Amusement Ride Safety according to TUV SUD European Standard EN 13814,” a representative of the park told CairoScene.

The park is stuffed with other fun, crazy things to do, from a “Dragon Island Amusement Park that includes a zip line" to a large trampoline and eight other games, a drop-off kids area for younger children, a FIFA requirements football field, AND the only baseball field in Africa.

Watch Zorbing in action in the video below and be sure to check out their Facebook page. You can call 01200455245 for reservations.
