The 13th Edition of 'Furnex & The Home' is Shaping Up to Be the Biggest Yet

From big statement pieces, to the tiniest of details, Furnex has it all.

Now in its triumphant 13th year, the annual Furnex & the Home Exhibition is set to return this weekend bigger and better than ever.

Taking place between Thursday 8 and Sunday 11 February at Cairo International Convention Center, the exhibition the interior design loving folks at Furnex are once again teaming up with the Egyptian Furniture Export Council, the Chamber of Woodworking & Furniture Industry and Global Conference Management, to make this the biggest exhibition of its kind.

But more than just an exhibition showcasing furniture and home accessories, Furnex & the Home has come to be a hub that brings together industry figures from around the region and the world, with renowned Italian designer, Giulio Cappellini, returning as the exhibition’s consultant and art director for the second time.

As the art director of Cappellini, Ceramica Flamini and Marangoni Design Campus, as well as design consultant for the likes of Alcantara, Tods, Rado, S.Pellegrino, Poltrona Frau Group and Haworth, Cappellini’s involvement has already gone some way to elevating Furnex & the Home’s growing position in both the region and internationally, making it just as valuable to exhibitor as it is to visitors.

This year, over 200 home-grown exhibitors will be in attendance, with everything from furniture design, fabrics and woodworking, to handicrafts, textile manufacturers, and lighting designers set to take over the convention center.
