Spanish football club, Sevilla, are reportedly interested in Egypt’s Mahmoud Trezeguet, according to Spanish publication Futbolistos, with the club reportedly looking for a replacement for Argentine winger, Joaquin Correa, who moved to Italian club, Lazio, this summer.

Officials from the club believe that Sevilla coach Pablo Machin’s high intensity, attacking style would be a perfect fit for Trezeguet, who currently plays for Turkish club, Kasımpaşa.

After lighting up the Turkish Superlig last season with 13 goals and 7 assists, it’s still also believed that Turkish giants, Galatasaray, have not given up on signing the Kafr El Sheikh native, who has been linked with them since June. Other reports during a summer of will they, won't they for Trezeguet have linked the Egyptian international with French club, Marseille, and German team, Stuttgart, as well as English club, Leicester City, and Italians Internazionale, though nothing has come of the rumours.

If a deal is to be struck, it will have to be before August 31, when most of the transfer windows across European leagues close till January.
