'90s kids are going to live for this; Jean-Claude Van Damme  has officially signed a contract with El Sobki Productions to appear in Amr Saad's upcoming movie, Hamlet Fer'oun (The Pharaoh's Campaign), as reported by Masrawy.

The film began shooting in December in Beirut, Lebanon, with the Belgian actor and martial artist set to land in Cairo in three months time to shoot his scenes. This will mark the second time an international celebrity has appeared for El Sobky, following last year's announcement that Scott Adkins is to star in the upcoming Ghada Abdel-Razek movie.

The plot of the action film revolves around an Egyptian hit man whose lover is captured by terrorists in Syria, forcing him to travel to the war-torn country in order to free her. It's yet to be announced what Van Damme's role will be.

Van Damme previously visited Egypt in October 2011 to celebrate his 51st birthday.
