Guess who’s back again? Nokia is re-launching its long-awaited 3310 model, as well as a whole new generation of Nokia phones, in Egyptian stores.

The last time you smashed a phone screen was probably yesterday and since then you’ve been reminiscing about the good old days when you had a classic brick Nokia phone that you'd throw around when angry, and puncture a hole in the wall. But the phone'd always survive. There was no mini-heart attack when you threw it at the bottom of your bag, or sat on it while it was in your back pocket. And you got to play snake at any given point of the day, and charged it once a month. We took those days for granted! There have been many rumours over the past few months; but now... we have confirmation. The new edition of the Nokia 3310 is now in Egypt and you can get your hands on it from all Nokia retailers as of the 15th of July 2017. You heard it here first!

The phone has a slightly sleeker design to the original 3310 and now comes in warm red, yellow, matte blue (mine!), and matte grey. It’s got an LED torchlight, Bluetooth (remember when you used to Bluetooth pictures?), stand-by time of up to 31-days, and a 2 MP camera. And get this, there's no front camera! For all you selfie-haters, this phone is pure functionality.

If you did want to take selfies though, Nokia are also releasing a new generation of phones that combine the structural integrity of the old Nokias while keeping in line with the latest distinctive design that the market demands. The Nokia 6 for example has a 5.5 inch full HD display screen with dual speakers making it optimal for watching Netflix and countless YouTube videos. It comes in matte black, silver, tempered blue and copper. The Nokia 6 also has a limited edition version called the Arte Black (for all you fancy pants) with 64 GB of storage and a whopping 4 GB RAM for insane processing speed. And of course, this comes in a high gloss black colour to match your personality. Dark, but fabulous. You’ve also got the Nokia 5, which specialises in a wide-angle front facing camera so you can capture more people in your selfies, as well as excellent sunlight and low light visibility. Additionally, Nokia 3 has a polarised screen protecting it from the annoying sun glare; it’s compact, elegant, and an affordable option if you want durability and quality. All of Nokia's new generation phones run a powerful Android software and they all will be available at retailers from the 15th of July – except the limited edition Arte Black which is yet to be confirmed... But we're sure we'll be the first to hear about it.
