Video: Geeking Out With Ayman Wattar

Funnyman Ayman Wattar invites us into his own little bat cave to get a little (a lot) geeky and talk comedy, comics, and defeating Batman. And yes, our jaws dropped when we saw how freakin' awesome his crib was.

After making it big on Bassem Youssef's El Bernameg, funnyman Ayman Wattar goes back to his roots and picks up writing again as the lead writer on his new show Ashraf. Aired on MBC Misr, this show gives us a taste of hilarious and original social satire with three different skits in each of the season's 12 episodes. "I am really excited and happy about this show because, even though I love acting, writing just feels like home," Wattar says.

We decided to go meet the epic comedian/writer, who basically got into comedy and show business by mere coincidence, and we are all just grateful that he did. He is truly one of the rare few comedians that have the natural art of 'haha' inside their hearts. He is also so much more than you would expect. Wattar is a passionate fan of comics, with emphasis on Batman and DC Comics to be specific. Take a look at his crib and check out our interview with him below:
