Ramadan is coming to a close and when it's all over we will actually start missing it. Wanting to take in this special time of year, we headed to Islamic Cairo to the delight of our Instagram account.
Ramadan is coming to a close, and although we are excited to no longer have to be fasting in sweltering heat, we also know we are going to miss this magical time of the year. With the last days remaining we decided to ditch the cafe and kheima, and chose instead to take a walk on the cultural side. What better way to cap off Ramadan then to visit the oldest cultural hot spot, Islamic Cairo, that takes on a special life after iftar. To make our case we headed down there and took nine sublime photos that prove Islamic Cairo is Instagram candy.
