16 Photos From Winter Wineland That'll Get You in the Christmas Spirit

The weather outside was frightful, but the wine was so delightful

Christmas came early this year with Gianaclis' Winter Wineland and we've never been merrier. Back for the second edition, the festive event was held at the spectacular Al Castello Palace, where we got to spend the day pretending we're royalty as we indulged in all sorts of delicious wines and take in the gorgeous scenery.

Celebrating all their wine brands, Cape Bay, Omar Khayyam, Castello Di Trevi, Château de Granville, Grand Marquis, Ayam and Valmont, the gathering was nothing short of extravagant. Gianaclis set up a number of booths for each one of their wines as well as a sangria booth, so we got to have ourselves a decadent day where we devoured s'mores and chocolate shawerma (Yup, that's right...chocolate and shawerma, two of our favourite things all wrapped up in one).

That's not all though, because what's Christmas without some intoxicated dancing? Winter Wineland, which welcomed an exclusive guestlist, made sure attendees were covered with a range of entertainment, including DJ Fadi Nemr, violinist Marseillio and dance/pop, house, reggae and hip-hop band Crash Boom Bang, as they sipped on their wine and devoured a selection amuse-bouche.

Gianaclis, which first launched in 1882, even gave some of us our Christmas gifts early as 20 lucky winners got to ho home with a bottle of wine from the Winter Wineland raffle. Overall, it was a day well spent.

But don't take out word for it - take a look for yourself.
