DJ, producer and cat-lover Cosmicat has been a trailblazing player in the Saudi Arabian music scene. Having performed at some of the world’s most esteemed festivals, the artist’s success continues to grow as she has become one of the region’s most in-demand DJs.

In this interview, Cosmicat paints a picture of what the Saudi music scene looked like before the recent changes in legislation, and explains how private events that used to take place back then served as a training ground for artists and DJs playing in large-scale events and festivals today.
