Netflix’s first ever Egyptian Original has almost arrived and we have an exclusive look at what is shaping up to be quite the series from creator and acclaimed filmmaker, Amr Salama.

Starring Ahmed Amin, Razan Jammal and Aya Samaha, the series revolves around Dr. Refaat Ismail (Amin) whose militant scientific beliefs are put into question after he begins to experience a spate of bizarre and potentially dangerous paranormal incidents. Accompanied by Scottish scientist, Maggie Mckillop (Jammal), he heads into a scary new world in an attempt to save his loved ones.

Directed by Salama and Majid Al Ansari, the series is based on Ahmed Khaled Tawfik’s best-selling novel of the same name - one that has sold over 15 million copies. Though the exact date of release is yet to be confirmed, the show is set to hit screens in fall 2020.
