Beatbox Heroes

Immersed in a sort of upper-middle-class Cairo nightlife, it's easy to forget that there are talented Egyptian musicians out there who don't make a living from pressing buttons and zabating their friends on the guestlist. Last week we were wandering around City Stars and came across a group of kids beatboxing nonchalantly as they walked along. We stopped them and shot the video below. It turns out it was the Black Heart Crew who got together through one of the Cairo Colour festivals arranged every summer and quickly got recognition through appearances on Arabs Got Talent and Rotana. They don't just beatbox though, but also rap and break dance too!
