Cairo Opera House Opens Applications for Children's Choir

The Cairo Opera House is opening its doors for new talents to join their Children’s Choir. Auditions for promising voices ranging from four to 15 years old will be held every day at 10 AM, from August 31st until September 1st.

Founded in 1989 by the late international operetta Dr. Ratiba El Hefny, the Cairo Opera House Children’s Choir is made of 250 boys and girls, who are currently led under the conduction of prominent Maestro Selim Sahab. The Choir performs a diverse repertoire of traditional and modern songs, with many being educational or geared towards social awareness.
