Arab Conference for Revival of Heritage

What is Arab culture? Where does it begin, and where does it end? It’s a question that can be tough to answer, particularly if you’re asking it at a historic nexus of multicultural exchange like Cairo. But that may also be why it’s the best place to host the first edition of the International Arab Conference for Revival of Heritage, which will gather 18 Arab states to discuss and revitalize Arab cultural and artistic traditions. The conference is meant to consolidate human relations between Arab peoples, and will include a number of seminars dealing with Arab women in particular.

The Arab Conference for Revival of Heritage is led by Sheikha Intisar Al-Sabah of Kuwait, who picked Cairo to launch the first session due to her love for Egypt and her belief in Egypt's pioneering role in arts, culture and social rapprochement. The event will run from May 25th to May 30th.
