Opera soprano Farrah El Dibany, whose illustrious career has already broken boundaries all over Europe, is finally performing in Cairo for the very first time. Directed by Mostafa Fahmy and orchestrated by Ahmed El Mougy, the Alexandria native will take to the stage to perform ‘Voyage Méditerranéen’ live at the Cairo Opera House in an ode to ancient Egyptian heritage.

The production has been in the making for quite some time, according to El Dibbany. “It features new arrangements by Ahmed El Mougy specially made for me and this concert,” El Dibbany tells #CairoScene. “And I’ll be accompanied by Les Cordes Croisées, an orchestra newly put together for this concert. It’s our new project, and we have been working on it for several years.”

The opera performance will take place at the Cairo Opera House’s Fountain Theatre at 8 PM. To buy tickets, you can visit https://bit.ly/34VEsfM
