Creative Industry Summit Showcases Homegrown Talent at Cannes Lions

The Creative Industry Summit, a hub for Egypt’s creative ecosystem, is sending three university students to participate in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France. The Cannes Lions - typically the realm of creative industry royalty - covers everything from advertising to communications, content creation to public relations.

One of these students - Nala Kamel, founder of Nala Says and Purple Talks - has been accepted at Cannes Lions’ Roger Hatchuel Student Academy (RHSA), a unique learning experience that essentially crams a full year’s worth of industry knowledge in five days. The RHSA course is an esteemed opportunity, allowing students to form connections with industry specialists and major companies. Students are basically set for life in connections. Imagine walking in, and boom, you meet Shonda Rhymes. Or Opera!

After an intense competition in ESLSCA University, two students won the right to represent Egypt at Cannes Lions’ media competition, where they competed against students from 32 other countries.
