Script writer and novelist Haitham Dabour signed a deal with Tarek Omar Sharif to obstain the rights to adapt the legendary actor's personal diary into a television series.

The life story of Hollywood star Omar Sharif will soon make its way to our screens, after script writer and novelist Haitham Dabour obtained the rights to adapt the legendary actor's personal diary into a television series.
Dabour signed the agreement to do so with Tarek Omar Sharif, the son of Omar Sharif and late actress Faten Hamama.
The diary has been described as raw and honest, detailing Omar Sharif's career in Hollywood (including his stint as a professional Bridge player), and delving into all sorts of intimate details we've never seen or heard before.
