The five piece all female band will serve up their unforgettable and hilarious musical monologues, accompanied by live instrumentals.
Founded by Egyptian composer Ayman Helmy in 2015, the brilliantly unique Bahgaga is a tour de force of a performance troupe that fuses acting, drama and comedy to take you on an entertainment escapade you won’t soon forget.
This April 23rd the five piece all female band - made up of Summer Galal, Asmaa Abo Elyazeid, Raghda Galal, Sherok Alsherif and Weam Essam - will perform at Cairo’s Zamalek Theatre where they’ll serve up their unforgettable musical monologues. The ladies will as always be accompanied by their ever loyal live instrumentals, including bass guitar, accordion, keyboard, oud and plenty of pithy percussion.
Best known for their song ‘Depression is Forbidden’, you’ll be anything but depressed after a night with Bahgaga.
