Zamalek's trademark cultural and entertainment hub, El Sawy Culturewheel, has announced that it will resume its scheduled programmes starting on July 9th, after it recently reopened its outdoor seating area with its stunning view of the Nile.

The first show that the venue has planned is courtesy of the famed El Sakia Puppet Theatre, who will perform covers of Umm Kulthum’ss ‘Inta ‘Omri’ and ‘Amal Hayaty’ on July 9th, followed by two concerts by the Sufi musical group  ‘Alhadraa’ on July 10th, and a concert by world music band ‘Mazeek’ featuring Menna Hussein on July 31st.

Regulations against the Coronavirus will remain in place; the venue will only accommodate up to 25% capacity, audience members must wear a face mask, and they must maintain social distancing.
