'Folklore Tales' Exhibit at Mashrabia Gallery of Fine Art

The Mashrabia Gallery of Fine Art will commemorate its late founder, award winning artist Saad Kamel, with an exhibition of his works entitled 'Folklore Tales' until April 15th.

Mashrabia Gallery of Fine Art is hosting an exclusive collection featuring the works of the gallery’s late founder, Saad Kamel, titled ‘Folklore Tales’. Since establishing Mashrabia Gallery in 1981, award-winning artist Saad Kamel dedicated the space to promoting modern art within Cairo until his passing in 2012. His own work covers folklore, Islamic, and Coptic art movements that have shaped the bulk of Egyptian art history.

The exhibition opened its doors on March 15th, and will be running until April 15th from Saturdays to Thursdays until 8 PM in Downtown Cairo’s Champollion Street.
