Free Entry to Umm Kulthum Museum Until February 10th

The Umm Kulthum Museum is now allowing free entry to all visitors until February 10th. Located south of Al Manial, the museum is dedicated entirely to the singer's legacy, containing many of her most iconic dresses and pieces of jewellery. Amongst the items in the collection are eight dresses that were gifted to Umm Kulthum from the Pakistani embassy, and which she wore while reciting some of her most famous songs like 'Al Atlal' and 'Enta Fakir'.

This offer is the result of a decision to make the Umm Kulthum Museum free to enter on the first week of every February. The museum is a popular destination for school trips and tourist groups, with Umm Kulthum's legacy reaching beyond the Arab world and as far as Canada, Argentina and East Asia.
