Legendary soft rock band Wust El Balad will be performing at the Cairo Opera House in their second in-person concert since the Coronavirus hiatus.
We don’t know about you, but the better part of our teenage years were spent in our rooms crying over the love of our lives while belching out the most emotional Wust El Balad lyrics against their soft rock sounds. You think we're embarrassed to share that experience? We’re all about their dulcet, Arabic tones. Anyway, in their second in-person appearance since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, the popular band will be performing at the Cairo Opera House’s newly-established outdoor Fountain Theatre on September 25th.
“We miss you,” the band shared in a Facebook post announcing the concert. “Our first concert after our hiatus just had to be in Cairo.” And after their triumphant return at El Sawy Culturewheel, we're looking forward to their second concert since the Coronavirus struck. We're hoping that they'll throw it back with some our faves like ‘Shams El Nahar’, ‘Antika’ or some fresh beats off their latest album, ‘Or2os Ma3 El Donia.’
