Hany Adel Makes Intl. Acting Debut With Jackie Chan & John Cena

You’ve seen him lead his bandmates as the singer of Wust El Balad, and now Hany Adel is making his international acting debut with… Jackie Chan and John Cena?!

Recently released on Netflix, action-comedy flick ‘Hidden Strike’ stars action icons Jackie Chan and John Cena as two former Special Forces soldiers who attempt to rescue civilians from Baghdad’s Highway of Death. While this is his first role in an international film, Hany Adel has previously performed in independent films like ‘Asmaa’ (2011), ‘Factory Girl’ (2013) and ‘Clash’ (2016), as well as popular Egyptian series like 'Hatha Al Masaa' (2017), 'Leh Laa?!' (2020), and 'Finding Ola' (2022).

Adel is currently working on the second season of 'Finding Ola', as well as a new album with indie band Wust El Balad.
