Intl Festival for Drums and Traditional Arts Begins June 12th
With a theme around ‘Drums Dialogue for Peace’, the festival is bringing in 30 bands from all corners from the world to participate in a global conversation through music.
The International Festival for Drums and Traditional Arts is kicking off in Cairo on June 12th to June 18th. With a theme around ‘Drums Dialogue for Peace’, the festival is bringing in 30 bands from all corners from the world to participate in a global conversation through music, whether they’re from Columbia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Sudan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Yemen, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Palestine, or Syria.
These performances will take place across some of Cairo’s most iconic spots, including the Mohamed Ali Citadel, Cairo Opera House, Ghouri Dome, House of Sanari, and Al Horreya Garden, among others.
