Jameel House of Traditional Arts Offers Two-Year Programme

Taught in collaboration with The Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts and the Cultural Development Fund, Jameel House of Traditional Arts' submissions are open until September 1st.

Jameel House of Traditional Arts has opened up admissions for their two-year programme in crafts and design. For those with an affinity for Islamic geometry, pattern-making, ceramics, glass, woodwork, metal work, gypsum, and other traditional crafts, this programme hopes to take those talents and preserve them for another generation to enjoy.

Taught in collaboration with The Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts and the Cultural Development Fund in Egypt, the submissions are open until September 1st. But the programme isn’t a casual weekend hobby - it asks participants to commit three days a week from 10 AM to 4 PM, starting in October.

You can apply by filling in an application form, and handing it in with your portfolio at El Fustat Centre for Traditional Crafts during weekdays from 10 AM to 3 PM. To access the form, you can visit https://bit.ly/3Db0Hy8.
