Khalid Abdalla to Play Dodi Fayed in 'The Crown'

Egyptian-British actor and filmmaker Khalid Abdalla will appear in the fifth season of 'The Crown', where he will take on the role of Dodi Fayed, Princess Diana’s boyfriend.

The award-winning Netflix series ‘The Crown’, has just taken on Egyptian-British actor and filmmaker Khalid Abdalla for the role of Dodi Fayed, Princess Diana’s boyfriend.


Abdalla, best known for his roles in ‘The Kite Runner’, ‘Green Zone’ and ‘United 93’, will reenact the relationship between the Harrods heir and the Princess of Wales that ended with their sudden deaths. Actor Salim Dau will take on the role of his father, Mohamed Al-Fayed.


The fifth season of ‘The Crown’ will drop on Netflix in 2022.
