Mohamed Fouad Returns to Silver Screen With 'Qalb fi New York'

After an 18-year hiatus from the screen, the ‘Kamannana’ singer is making a cinematic comeback.

After an 18-year hiatus from cinema, Egyptian superstar Mohammed Fouad returns to the silver screen with a new movie,‘Qalb Fi New York’.

Widely known for his roles in many classic 90s films like ‘Isma’elya Rayeh Gay’, Fouad’s last cinematic showing was the Egyptian classic rom-com ‘Ghawi Houb’ in 2005. The film featured a number of popular songs by the singer, including ‘Habibi Ya’ and ‘Tameni Alek’.

While he has been gone from the big screen for nearly two decades, Mohammed’s most recent acting role was in 2017, when he was featured in the Ramadan drama ‘El Daher’.
