NikonMEA celebrates female photographers across the Middle East and beyond with their new competition, ‘Woman, Phenomenally’.
NikonMEA is celebrating boundary-pushing, game-changing talent of women photographers in the Middle East through their new competition, ‘Woman, Phenomenally’. Inspired by the Maya Angelou poem of the same name, the competition sets out to show the world “the power of a woman with a brilliant mind, a strong heart, and a camera.”
All you need to do is post a photo of a woman, or a group of women, who embody the idea of a phenomenal woman in the shot. Whoever wins gets a free Nikon professional camera. Easier said than done, as the contest is open to all female photographers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Nigeria, South Africa, Mauritius, Kenya, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine, Nepal, Lebanon, and of course Egypt.
Two awards handed out; one for the UAE winner, and one for a selected winner out of all the other countries put together.
The submission period is now open until April 8th. To find out how, you can head to nikonschool-ae.com.
