OSN to Launch Pop-Up Channel Featuring Soad Hosny’s Classic Films

Soad Honsy, aka the Cinderella of Egyptian cinema, has had a lasting impact on Egyptian cinema. Having starred in more than 80 films over the span of her 40-year cinematic career, some of the late star’s most notable roles include the unforgettable Sagheera ‘Al Hob (1966), Khalil Balak min Zouzou (1972), Hob fi Al-Zenzana (1983) and Al Zoga Al Tania (1967).

To honour Hosny’s legacy, OSN will be launching a Pop-Up channel dedicated entirely to screening her films. With over 30 of her movies on display, the Pop-Up channel will be available from August 13th to September 4th.
