One Egyptian man watched Kung Fu Panda 2 162 TIMES!
It wouldn't be appropriate to bid 2017 sweet farewell without being thankful for having our utmost companions by our side throughout the year. While this could mean a significant other to some - maybe a cat to others (it's not that sad, don't worry) - to us it only means one thing; NETFLIX!
The year in numbers has just been revealed by Netflix. And while Stranger Things 2 being 2017's top watched show in Egypt was quite an easy guess, we were definitely taken aback by some of the shows which made it to the list. Suburra: Blood on Rome, for instance, was the 3rd most devoured show by Egyptians. No one even talks about that show, is it some sort of a well-kept secret that's just been unearthed? What gives?Cheating on your significant other would usually mean you're getting dumped in most cases. Egyptians, however, took their chances in 2017 and sneakily watched new episodes of their favourite shows without waiting for their spouses to share the moment; how savage. The show Egyptians cheated with the most is Narcos followed by 13 Reasons Why.
On another note, one Egyptian Netflix subscriber watched Kung Fu Panda 2 one hundred and sixty two times. That number was correct. What's going on there? Your guess is as good as ours but shouldn't Netflix set up a help line? Now don't be alarmed and check out Netflix's Year in Numbers in Egypt:
