Yasmin Raeis Will Star in New Film 'The Search for a White Dress'

Egyptian actress Yasmin Raeis will star in a new film, ‘The Search for a White Dress’, marking her first collaboration with Egyptian filmmaker Jaylan Auf. 

The film follows the story of a young woman from a poor neighborhood whose dress gets ruined on her wedding night, and sets off on a frantic search for a replacement with her best friend.

Famed for her distinctive acting style and diverse roles, Raeis’ most recent cinematic showing was in ‘Ana Li Habibi’. The drama film featured a star-studded cast including Karim Fahmy, Mohamed El Sharnoubi, Sawsan Badr and Bayoumi Fouad. 

Filming for ‘the Search for a White Dress’ is set to begin within the month, and will be produced by Mohamed Hefzy and Egyptian production company Film Clinic.
