'Suicide' Bombing Hits Egypt

At least four have been killed and 12 others injured following a string of bomb attacks in Heliopolis and South Sinai.

One police officer died and thre others injured in a blast at a police station in the upmarket Cairo district earlier today.

The attack comes just hours after a  suicide bomber killed himself and a police officer while wounding five others at a security checkpoint at El-Tur, between Cairo and Sharm El-Sheikh

Meanwhile a second suicide bomber, in the same area, wounded at least four tourism workers in a blast nearby.

Security forces have heightened security in the South Sinai amid fears of further attacks.
