Terror strikes Hurghada as three gunmen have stormed the Bella Vista Hotel, allegedly injuring two Swedish tourists before being stopped by security forces on Friday evening. Talking with Health Ministry spokesperson, Khaled Megahed, Al Ahram Online reports that two Swedish nationals were stabbed in the attack. Their conditions are unclear but they are supposedly being treated for the wounds in the nearby Nile Hospital. According to the eyewitness account of an anonymous security source talking with Al-Ahram Arabic's website, two gunmen were killed. The attack took place in a busy downtown area popular with tourists and, according to Reuters, the gunmen arrived by sea to carry out the attack.
