C3 I.D.E.A Accelerator is Targeting Impact-Driven Startups Across MENA

Aiming to level the playing field in the regional tech landscape, UK and UAE-based social enterprise, Companies Creating Change (C3), and global IT specialist, Accenture, have joined hands to launch the C3 I.D.E.A Accelerator, which looks to empower tech startups driving inclusion, equity and accessibility for marginalised and underserved communities.

Ten regional early-stage, impact-driven entrepreneurs hailing from the UAE, KSA, Egypt, Lebanon, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman will be selected to participate in a five-week virtual learning and mentorship experience before heading to Dubai in February 2022 to showcase their solution at the Accenture Lounge at Expo 2020. The finalists will also have a chance to network with C3 alumni, experts and investors.

The five-week intensive training will help the entrepreneurs maximise their community impact by increasing their knowledge on business growth and the pillar of inclusion and diversity. Entrepreneurs will learn how to integrate inclusive practices into their businesses, achieve financial sustainability and develop impactful, scalable solutions.

The programme gathers a number of important stakeholders to tackle the challenges of promoting inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility and empowering a number of underrepresented communities.
