While Egyptian schools have been reopening and adjusting to the new normal, the continuously uncertain state of the world has propelled global educational entities to better focus on remote learning. Which makes this the perfect time to arm children with the technologies they need to make that possible. Which might be why Taiwanese tech giant MediaTek is teaming up with undisclosed Egyptian private and governmental tech companies to produce educational tablets in Egypt.

MediaTek is also collaborating with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and local electronics company ElAraby Group on several artificial intelligence (AI) and 5G projects. By the end of 2022, AlAraby Group hopes to offer home appliances that utilize Internet of Things and AI technology.
